### Description

this was actually taken after I had spent the night camping nearby. Yes it was a very cold night.

It was really beautiful in the morning with the light shining as it was. The shadows were really impressive.

### Specific Feedback

anything that will help me as a photographer improve my skills

### Technical Details

this is probably an old Agfachrome that is printed as black-and-white.

David, this is a fine look following the shadows into the forest where the undulations in the snow add well to feeling of movement.

Beautiful image, David. No nits from me on this one and it makes me glad I never got into winter camping, though I do remember getting six or so inches of new snow one outing.

HI David,
I like this. I can feel both the cold and the sunshine. The shadows of the trunks feel long and distorted, which also makes for a lovely sense of time of day. Nary a nit from me either. There is a tree half peeking in on the left, but I don’t know how you feel about cropping that out. We would lose some of the angular shadows at the edges, which are so wonderful. And I doubt many would notice that trunk.

Really great comp with the trees cropped low and all the snow in the foreground. The shadows coming at the viewer and the rolling landscape makes this very dynamic. I also like the soft light on the snow. Well seen!
