Another day out in the Colorado high country to capture winter at its best!

A brutal day battling into the wind for almost 3 hours made me finally stop at 12,917ft high on the slopes of James Peak in the James Peak Wilderness.

Jody, I like these a lot, and they have a very different feel than your prior winter series. The light in the second one is absolutely spectacular, well worth fighting the wind. Great work on these…

Beautiful set of images, Jody. I like them all but find the receding ridges in the third especially appealing.

Great shots! That second one is amazing. That had to be a gnarly hike up to 12.9K!
