The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.
Description
Sage Thrashers are a rarity where I live so birders here are always excited when one makes it way down here. However they are pretty sulky and hard to get a clean shot of. To my delight, this individual was out foraging in the open and let me even get close. I went to the ground for this shot and as I get older I got cramped up during the process. But the pain was worth it I feel.
Specific Feedback
General feedback welcome. I cleaned up some vegetation on the left but did not make more wholesale changes. Some oof twigs on the right could be cleaned up maybe? Also is the bg too dull?

Excellent, Guarav, and that ground doesn’t look comfortable to lie on. My wife’s gotten used to that pose. Between birds and flowers I tend to do it a lot. Luckily I can still get up fairly easily.
The low angle really makes this image, and the depth of field is perfect. The bit of out of focus foliage on the left is bright and “crunchy” enough to tend to draw my eye so I could see blurring it a bit more with whatever your favorite technique for that happens to be. If you have it, I could also see giving the bird just a touch more headroom.
Congratulations on getting this beauty. I’ve spent a few days listening to their wonderful songs without getting a single shot of them.
Wonderful detail and pose! I love the colors, with the bluish shadow complementing the warm tones. For my taste, the brighter parts of the vegetation on the left could be subdued a bit. On the right, again my taste, butI would blur the grass stalk that is parallel to the bird’s back. as it jumps out at me. I love the greens and golds in the BG! Excellent capture!
Great look at the Thrasher, Gaurav. For my taste the background works really well and nicely complements the bird. I like the low level you were able to achieve. Agree with the previous thoughts on the side foliage. I could see increasing the the contrast and the brightness a bit on the bird.
Hi Gaurav, a really fine image. Love that upright alert pose and the low angle is terrific. Agree on the comments about subduing some of the background twigs. A very nice image either way.
Hi Gaurav
Thank you for the Sage Thrasher, nice low angle, with good feather detail and eye contact. You could look at lowering the exposure by a 1/2 stop.
