A Harsh Land

This image was captured during my last safari to Etosha National Park in November 2019 just before the pandemic hit us all. Little did I know then that this would be my last safari for a while . . . A tower of Giraffes marching to the nearest water source which turned out to be Okaukuejo. Later that evening we saw these 4 giraffes arrive at the waterhole after what we calculated would have been a 20km walk in the heat . . . Truly amazing how animals adapt to these conditions.
