### Weekly Challenge

Quiet Movement

11/1/26 - 11/7/26

**Critique Style:** Standard

The photographer is looking for thoughtful feedback on the image as a whole, especially around the areas noted below.

**Feedback Focus:** Artistic / Expressive

### About This Image

In searching for photos that show subtle motion, I found some showing the growth on the bottom of the stream that’s part of my water garden, where the sky/light reflections show the motion, while other part were stationary. This one was taken this morning with a recently fallen Oak leaf catching some sun, while a mix of fall colors and sky reflections adds surrounding interest while quietly showing the water’s movement.

### Feedback Requested

I’m quite happy with the result which shows good detail in the main leaf, the briefly trapped bubble with sunstars and lots of colorful flow structures in the water.

You’ve found a nice colorful subject Mark! Nicely exposed and bright

I would consider subduing the left brighter upper quarter. And depending on your mindset, even consider cloning this area off
