September 8-12, 2019
Limited to 12 participants with two instructors.
Non-photographing guests welcome (no fee for them)
Based in Bandon, Oregon
Join us Along the Oregon Coast with its wild-and-woolly seascapes, cliffs that dip down to the Pacific Ocean, waves crashing against rocks, and sea mists that can add mystery and mood. There are also beaches, sea stacks, patterns in the dunes and water, surfers, and all manner of things to tempt your photographic eye. We have even been lucky enough to watch an artist create wonderful designs in and amongst the rocks, all done with rakes and helpers …
Our tag line is "Seek Your Own Vision, and Make Great Photos," and we mean it. Standing cheek by jowel with a gaggle of photographers is not the way to get unique images. Our goal is to help you find your vision and use age-old principles of art to make compelling images that tell your story. We stress aesthetics over techno-speak, and our daily critiques incorporate just that.
Margo and Arnie are world travelers who in their past lives, worked for the best of the best, LIFE, Time, GEO, Geographic, etc. and were hired by Fortune 500 corporations for their unique vision. Their work is in museums and collections world-wide. Let them help you take that next step in your photographic journey.
$1,480 with discounts for alumni and members of Nature Photographers Network (make note of same on the application)
Twofer discount for those who also join us for Palouse, Echoes of Tuscany.
