Joe’s Bio

Joe Cornish is a landscape photographer based in North Yorkshire, UK. His primary interest is ecosystem conservation, and main areas of work include the whole of the UK, and the polar regions. Joe writes extensively for renowned online magazine, OnLandscape. Joe co-leads tours and workshops with such notable photographers as David Ward, Mark Carwardine, Charles Cramer and Antony Spencer. He has contributed to countless books over four decades and has recently completed collaborations on Capability Brown, and Sir Humphry Repton. His camera technique is based on the large format film tradition and he continues to a use a technical view camera, with the Phase One IQ4-150. He is an honorary Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society.
