Anatomy

Can you date this prehistoric creature? It looks dead as a log to me. I appreciate your views on the image. It is an oldie, captured in 2010 in Fundy National Park in New Brunswick, Canada.

Wow. I enjoy abstracts of weathered wood, and this is a topper! Makes me think I am seeing a part of something in marble in Italy. I would not change a thing in the tonality or cropping of this.

Superb. Beautifully handled in black and white. And yes, “anatomy” is a perfect title. The outer piece feels like a well-muscled arm cradling the inner piece , which feels like the arm of a child. Very evocative.

Thanks @Kerry_Gordon and @Dick_Knudson for your visits and compliments.

Maybe I’m twisted myself. The twisted piece in the URC reminds me of the creature in the movie Alien, with its giant menacing mouth!
Anyway, this immediately caught my eye for its graphicness!

Thanks for your comment, Mark. Yes, this image is all about imagination.
