The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.
Description
I could barely walk more than a few steps in Denali National Park without gasping for breath. It wasn’t a heart attack, though. I was repeatedly arrested by the colors. Unbelievable.
Specific Feedback
All comments and reactions welcome, thanks for any feedback.
A few specific questions:
I decreased the highlights & whites in the sky to tone it down relative to the rest of the image. Too much? Not enough?
Have I gone overboard with the saturation?

Cathy, I think this works very nicely. The composition is excellent, and I love the color. The saturation looks good to me. You might consider doing a little cloud sculpting. I like the splashes of light on the mountains.
Good job!

Nice one. I like the composition and the saturation looks good to me. I might try to bring out even more detail in the clouds. I love the highlighted section in the valley. If you wanted to play around with a radial filter in Lightroom, maybe it could be enhanced even more. Well done.
@Preston_Birdwell@Michael_Lowe Thanks for your feedback on composition and saturation. I agree that the clouds don’t look quite right yet and I’ll work on them some more. Michael - I tried a radial filter to bring up the highlights in the valley but reversed it because I couldn’t get it right with my limited processing skills. I’ll try again.
Hi Cathy,
This is certainly another wonderful image from your Alaska trip. The light on the slopes of the mountains is magical and the saturation looks great for my own personal tastes. I really like the warm tones. My only suggestion would be to play around with the sky a little more. Very nicely done; keep them coming!
Cathy,
I really love this composition. Pulls me in. I agree with the other comments that you might do a little something (dehaze?) with the clouds but that is minor and you certainly don’t want them to pull one’s eye away from the main scene. As for the saturation, I think it works but perhaps with less luminance in the canyons. A great photo.
Hi Kent, thanks for your comments! I agree that the clouds still aren’t quite right. Thanks for the suggestion to try dehaze on them. I’ll play with the luminence some more too.
