Image taken last month in the snow. The brown dried aster pods stood out well against the white snow.

Ravi: One MUST look at the largest view to appreciate the wonderful details in the ice crystals on the pods and stem. Marvelous find and a superb capture. \>=))\>

Large view is a must see. Was this one taken at dawn or dusk? The snow has a subtle warm tone to it. Pretty cool shot–Awesome…Jim

I like this minimalistic picture very much. It’s made of simple color and elements. Very beautiful! Snow on the pods and stem is well depicted against pure white BG.

Thanks Bill, Jim and Nao for your comments. The image was made during dusk on a mostly cloudy day with a faint glow on the horizon, which is reflected by the snow and the pods.
