Backyard Blue Bird

I was playing with my camera exposures while my backyard birds were stopping by and this male blue bird stopped in the nice light. I think I got it right?

The head on perch angle is a bit different, but the bird’s pose is pretty nice. You got a catchlight in the eye and we can even see some eye color. Crisp details and the exposure looks good too. You could add some space below the feet if you have it.

Very nice, Norma. Great details and lighting, in my opinion. I too would prefer more room on the bottom, to include the full tail feathers, if you have it. Maybe a vertical rather than a square crop. Still, a nice shot as presented.

Nice detail and exposure, Norma. I agree with the others about more room on the bottom. The angle of the perch is interesting and works nicely. A good image as presented.

Good pose and detail against a good background. The man-made perch works well as the angle makes it fairly inconspicuous and it blends in with the background. Nice capture.
