I like it, David. The head down shows the concentration on the landing. I’m just viewing this on a tablet, which might be misleading due to screen size, but I could also see this with a vertical crop to show the concentration more and to make the drops and debris particles better.
I like the story as well. I don’t think the head angle is of any issue here. Nice capture.

The landing is great. (not something you get to see in this detail very often). The feather detail and coloring are spot on. Ny real question is, did the post stay vertical after the Eagle landed.

Excellent color and detail. Great landing pose and the head position seems appropriate as it shows the eagle’s concentration as it lands.
The post has been there at least 30years or more. So I don’t think it is going anywhere…
