About This Image

We were in Lake Clark National Park on Chinitna Bay and these two bears were flocking about. They fished and played around for 30 minutes or so before wandering off.

I would appreciate any feedback on the general compliant feel of the image. Any thoughts on how else I could improve the photo are always very welcome:grinning_face:

This is really a fantastic image of two brown bears presumably playing as there didn’t seem to be a lot ferocity in either bear. The water frozen water spray really helps the viewer feel the action. I like the crop and the facial expression of the bear in the back. The one paw with the nails showing is really really lets the viewer see how dangerous these animals are. My one suggestion is to brighten areas around the nose and the eyes to help the viewer see the bears intense expression.

Alexander, thank you very much for your comments and suggestions.

Brightening the facial feature did the trick for me. The revised version is perfect as presented. Take home lesson, I would not want to be face slapped by a Grizzz! Well done…Jim

Thanks Jim

Great interaction and I love the water splash. The bears appear very playful.

Image may benefit from some boost in contrast.

Thanks J. I always appreciate your thoughts and will give it a try.
