I’m liking the perch and background. Nice pose. Good processing work.

I’m nearly as enchanted with the stick as the bird. Paraphrasing The Couch Trip - I want my tie to match my shirt…what’s that called? A la page. That’s what I thought of when I saw how seamlessly that background supports the moss on the branch.

That is an amazing background, David! All the yellow really is a nice contrast for the chickadee! Beautiful!

A lovely image, David. I like the Chickadee looking at something besides the camera. An interesting mossy background.

This is a perfect image, David. Background has no detail, the stick frames the bird, and then there’s the cute little Chickadee. Well done.

Really nice - especially for such a high ISO and relatively large crop to boot. Good work.

Like the vibrant background … a very beautiful portrait.

All said above – fantastic detail, light and color! Great quality from a high ISO and big crop!

I have a soft spot in my heart for chickadees, and you captured this Black-capped wonderfully. No nits from me!
