Beautiful portrait of this little fellow, Sandy. The perch and background are wonderful.

Interesting. At first I thought it was a painting. Am definitely drawn to the bird. Nice sharp detail. Am curious about the perch. What do you mean when you say “From a workshop, branches cut and made available?”

Sandy: what’s not to like about a beautiful bird perched on a flowering branch and a creamy background.

@christinedorresteinphotography
Hi, Christine - in some of the small bird workshops, flowering branches or otherwise interesting branches from surrounding trees are cut and placed around a water source (or sometimes hidden seed) to provide perches for the birds to land on as they cautiously come in. You still have to be very quick to catch any of them, as they are there for only a second or two.

Hi Sandy
Very nice photograph and framing of this Titmouse.
Peter

This is a very painterly image Sandy.

Very pretty colours, dreamy background and a nice diagonal perch. There seems to be so little detail in the stick itself. Is this a trait of the plant?

Beautiful, Sandy. A very painterly image. I like the background and how the flowers are framing the bird.
