Botanical Gardens Treasures

Pertinent technical details or techniques to help others learn:

I went to our local Botanical Gardens to photograph the butterflies. Saw this flower which was nicely spot lit by the sun with a naturally dark background. I chose to underexposed by -1 2/3 to really push the background down.

Such a beautiful portrait of this flower! I really like the contrast between the light on the flower and the darker background.

A striking portrait for the contrasts of lights and colors. I love the image.
