Mario, while this might be a simple comp, the sand patterns and the colorful sky make for an excellent image.
I looked at this before I read your description, and I would have sworn this was a drone shot from high altitude. The ripples in the sand look like mountains. Very unusual perspective for a beach shot, cleverly done Mario.
I like your dark processing of the sand here. My only suggested processing tweak would be to lessen the vignette effect in the two upper corners, it feels a bit strong to me.
