Butter-butt Argument

I enjoy shooting things that come into our deck birdbath (from our nearby dining room) and I was happy to capture this Yellow-rumped Warbler sparring off with a Western Bluebird recently. I have gotten shots of Butter-butts before but this is the most revealing look at their namesake that I’ve managed plus, I just like the drama of the shot.

Nice capture, and especially through glass! I wonder about a little taming of the reds and some NR. Who won?

Nice one, Dave. These two species hand out together in the fall/winter around our neck of the woods. Interesting that they’d have a dispute over the bird bath.
