The iridescence of these starlings is very intense in good light, and the orange eye is quite striking. I was lucky to catch both since the African light is often flat and intense.
I’m not usually a fan of spider webs, but I liked them here. The spider itself is visible in the center upright branch,

I wanted to include a good bit of the thorn bush, but I could also see cropping more from both sides.

I think the image is great without any further cropping. I always like it better when ends of branches aren’t cut off by the edge of the frame, but you just can’t be in control of everything! The bird itself is stunningly captured. The web is natural and looks just fine here. Great shot!
Great bird giving you a wonderful pose. Good perch. The crop as presented is nice, but maybe there is another version with a little slice taken off the RHS and a tad added to the LHS??
I think that this is pretty good as presented. You could try Glenny’s suggested crops to see whether it enhances the comp. Well done and like that yellow eye too,Jim
Great capture of this striking species. The spider web adds an interesting element and does not detract anything from the overall image. I like the image as presented. Really like how you captured the iridescence and the striking eye. Very nice head turn and a great background as well.
Good pose and the iridescence really shows with good detail. I like the background and the bush it’s perched on. Spider web is a nice addition. Crop looks fine; gives the bird enough breathing room and the perch itself adds interest to the photo.
