This is a repost of my Carpenter bee on Zinnia a few days ago. This time it is a bit closer and I toned down the flower a bit. What do you think? Is the wider version better? Thank you for your input.

Brian, when doing a repost it is probably best to add the photo to the original post to make it easier for comparison, and then edit the title to add “+ repost”.
For me, anytime I can bring this tiny critters closer to view, the better. So this is nice in that respect. The lighting seems still a bit harsh of course. Not a lot you can do about that in post processing.
