Castle Valley Ridge

The ridge forming the eastern boundry of Castle Valley catches early morning sunlight along its entirety. The ridge has a series of named formations atop it, from left to right: Castleton Tower, Rectory, Priest and Nuns, Mother Superior, Convent. Beyond Castle Valley Ridge and also bathed in light are Parriot Mesa and Porcupine ridge.

Thank you, David. I spent the night at the base of Fisher Towers so I could make this shot across Richardson Amphitheater when the morning sun first hit the ridge while the valley floor remained in shadows.
