This seemed to me as if the two trees were having a conversation, and the bright cloud was their mutual understanding. That is fairly out there, I’m sure you are thinking. In any event, does it work aesthetically, even if you think my premise is goofy?

I am really liking the light in the sky and the silhouette of the trees emphasizes it quite nicely. Aesthetically it works for me.
I like it. I am a fan of trees and I think the sky has some great sky to help silhouette them. That touch of color in the center brings it all together for me.

Totally see what you’re seeing. If only trees could talk… right?
I could see cutting this down to a 5x7 format - if for no other reason than my personal taste. Although given the tall, vertical nature of the subject, this works beautifully as captured.

Thanks, @Lon_Overacker. I actually tried a 5x7 crop, but preferred the original 2x3 ratio. YMMV.
