### Description

The darter stood with its neck extended towards the sky, a silent figure against the clear expanse. Its feathers, meticulously arranged, caught the light in a way that made them appear almost ethereal.

Beautiful pose in the darter and that rock just keeps on giving, Saundie. The barnacles (or whatever they are) seem to work very well with this image. A very well composed image.

Hi Saundie, nice pose for this shot as the bird overlooks the area beyond the rock.  
I think the centered bird work here as he/she is nicely at the top of the rock’s peak. Well seen and taken.
