I captured this brief moment when the isolated branches of a tree were reflected on the still water of Chisholm Lake in Tasmania.

### Specific Feedback and Self-Critique

Whenever I shoot reflections on water, the image usually fills the frame and appears quite abstract due to the distorted and fluid patterns. I like that this image differs from my “usual” reflections shot - the subject is obvious, and there is a lot of negative space. I think that stripping away the colour enhances the simplicity of the scene.

@alan19 , this is a GEM! I love the simplicity—but with so much of interest in the branches—and especially love all the white space to the left. Glad the day was not “usual” for you!
