European nuthatch

This nuthatch has occupied the nest hole of a spotted woodpecker, that used (and probably made) it last year. A stream makes it hard to have another angle to the nest hole, but I think that the nuthatch has plastered the entrance with mud to make it smaller.

Please list any pertinent technical details or techniques to help others.
