This is a close up, relatively fast shutter look at part of the falls that starts the flow of my water feature. I’m trying for a summery, happy, maybe dancing feeling.

Mark, this is a neat experiment, which I am sure with just changing the shutter speed would give you very different results. With the hot weather we have been having, the feeling I get is this looks refreshing.
Hi Mark, it’s so hot here I get the feeling I’d like to be in this waterfall! Cool shot. I like the various water chutes with varying degrees of underlying vegetation.
A very interesting image, Mark. The green in the background of large parts of the image, makes me think of some impressionist renditions of evergreen trees, particularly those areas where the water diverges as it descends. It does have a summery, cooling feel to it.
I found this to be a real interesting look at a water feature because it’s not a typical subject for somebody to shoot. At least that’s the case I see this for NPN. But there sense of regularity about it. You are always finding interesting subjects and you have found one here. Well seen and nicely done.
A bit late here. Excellent! Love that you almost froze the water with a relatively fast shutter speed; the effect is wonderful - almost dazzling! As someone else mentioned, and I’m guessing you experimented - lots of possibilities at different speeds. But for sure, this works beautifully as captured.
I don’t think anyone suggested, but one of my initial reactions was wanting to flip this vertically. If this is indeed a vertical falling section of a waterfall, it seems kinda weird that the flow is spreading out; I expect it literally to be flowing straight down. So my thought was turing this over, then it becomes almost like a water works like fountain? Something like you might see fountains aeriating a pond - or as extreme… the Dancing Water display at the Bellagio in Vegas… ok, maybe that’s a stretch. Anyway, I think it works flipped vertically, but may not quite work for you knowing this is your own water feature…
