Female red deer

While hiking I encountered this beautiful woman.
There wasn’t much light under the trees, so I needed to go to a relatively high ISO unfortunately.

Specific Feedback Requested

I cropped a bit, to get rid of a thin bare tree on the right that I found a little distracting. To restore balance, I cropped some off the top as well.
Does this work? All comments are welcome.

Hi Hans, what a beautiful pose you’ve caught here and the surrounding landscape is interesting too, with the moss-covered rocks and tree roots. I think your cropping worked out well but increasing the exposure of the whole scene a bit would improve.

Thank you @Jim_Lockhart for your comment!
I made a rework that I post here, leaving the background as in the original post, but brightness and contrast have been increased a bit in the doe. I preferred the result over increasing the exposure of the whole scene.

Well done Han, I like the increased exposure on her.

A good pose with the deer looking off to the side of you. Exposure looks OK, do like the second version best of the 2. Would like to see this cropped tighter on her head to show the grass she is eating. better.
