**Feedback Focus:** Artistic + Technical

### About This Image

Norman Rockwell is an artist I tremendously respect. If you ever want to show someone messages using images, check his stuff out. I call this my Norman Rockwell shot. At least I am trying to emulate him. LOL.

### Feedback Requested

What I am interested in is indeed the message of best friends and any processing you might suggest to improve that.

### Technical Details

Nikon D800, F4.5, ISO 1600, Nikkor 24-70 ất 32mm

## Visual Notes

Very nice twin portrait - almost there in my eyes - maybe just a couple of tweaks

Reduce the general exposure round the edges a little so..
[A1] area needs to be the lightest

Then [A2] reduce this area in brightness on the front of the cat.

See what that looks like - it its not strong enough then just crop in a little more tightly.

Very nice image

Regards

Huw

When you’re producing images for publication-you have to be able to make the tell the story you want and Norman Rockwell was a master at that. This image does a beautiful job, Steve. I think the light on the faces of the woman and cat are sufficient to pull the viewers eye in , though I do agree with @Huw_Thomas that the light on the cats chest could go down a bit. An excellent image.
