Superb detail and color in the hummingbird, David. It’s interesting how much difference in color there is between the sunlit and shadowed parts of the banister. Though I know it’s holding the rail up, I’d be tempted to eliminate the out-of-focus support and maybe clean up the fringe under the rail.

Here is a repost. In the original on this image, the lighter color on the banister was almost pure white. I cut back the highlights significantly and toned down the brightness in order to get some semblance of the green color. At a 45° angle, the banister was reflecting the bright overcast sky.

Shiny paint will do that. I do like it better without the support.
