Autumn colors are finally showing down here. I saw this egret at the neighborhood lake yesterday.

A beautiful scene, Allen. I’m partial to the first image. I like how the red and green leaves cover the entire top, while in the second image there’s more of a bare spot in the left upper corner. I also prefer the placement of the egret in the first image. I also like the brighter look of the first image.

I prefer the first image both for the composition and the brighter presentation, Allen. Both are nice, but flipping back and forth between them, I find that I have a definite preference.

Very nice, quiet and colorful image! I like the contrast between the white of the egret and the autumn reds, and the “landscape with bird” composition. I like better the first image, also for the pose of the egret.

Allen, great photo! Both great but I like the first one better with the color extending across the entire top and the position of the Egret. A great image of the fall.

Hi Allen

The colors are great, and the placement of the Egret is spot on. Nice work.
