Great Egret Trying out for Egyptian Hieroglyphics

The sharp angles of the neck in this pose reminded me of human poses in Egyptian art. This individual seemed to favor this kind of pose.

Very interesting pose, Dennis. Don’t think I’ve ever seen an Egret in this position. I like how you’ve left him plenty of room in the direction he is looking.

My first impression: The Bangles. You chose a great dept of field. I also like the wet grass. Good shot.

Excellent title! Really nice look at this great Egret. Plumage, detail, and color are perfect.

Very nice, and a little different take than most Egret shots – well done!

Hi Dennis
On a gray day your best friend is a Great Egret. This Egret set a very striking pose for you. Well done.
