Grinnell Point at Glacier National Park

A sunset on a windy evening at Glacier National Park. Of course I’d have like to have a nice reflection in the lake, but I’d be a real loser if I’d have complained about it. I just extended my shutter speed and looked for anything to anchor the foreground and proceeded to make some hay.

Beautiful and moody, Gary.

Nice! I love the quality of light, the wide and smooth mid-ground (adds a lot of depth), and the gentle light on those mountains. I imagine those peaks could have easily been lost in dark shadows. I don’t think a reflection is needed. There is so much more going on here. Great work!
