About This Image

It was our last morning in the Lower Zambezi in Zambia. We were doing a short game drive on the way to the airstrip for the short flight back to Lusaka. We were sad to go but didn’t have any great expectations for the drive. As we left the camp we were very pleased to spot two lionesses and five cubs. Four of the cubs spent most of their time nursing but this last one was playing around the entire time. It was so much fun to watch.

I would appreciate any thoughts in the framing, lighting and color. Any suggestions on how to improve the photo are very welcome :grinning_face:

Wow. I’m heading to Lower Zambezi next year with David du Chemin. I only hope to get an image with this degree of cuteness. Great catch. I might crop just a tiny bit from the bottom.
