@Kris_Smith recently posted an image of a homestead that reminded me of this one I took in 2009. I was on my way to photograph a ghost town in eastern Oregon when I saw this. I liked the sky and the openness of the land around the homestead. I’ve also photographed the inside of the home, but that will wait for a later post.

Oh how I love stuff like this. I think if I lived any further west and I’d hardly ever come home. It’s amazing how the dry conditions serve to keep these standing as memorials.
