### About This Image

While driving into Yosemite this afternoon I came across this fearsome steed preparing to go afouling tonight. Would not want to meet up with the ghoul tonight. \>=))\>

### Feedback Requested

I have some single shots with the BG nicely blurred but decided to do a stack to bring everything into focus. Your thoughts?

### Technical Details

Sony FE 70-200 f2.8 GM-II @ 200mm

Certainly does look fierce Bill! There’s a lot of different critters hiding in that wood.

Bill, I’m a sucker for blurred BGs when there is a substantial subject to be shot. Having said that, this is a great image showing the terrain and vegetation, which I always find interesting.

I also thought about a bit of blurring to the BG. But as the eye is so clear I don’t think the rest matters much. It shows the ghouldeer environment. Well spotted!

This is quite the sighting, Bill, and very nicely rendered. The fairly sharp background is enough brighter than the subject that it works well. I do wonder about some (or more) dodging of the tree on the left for a bit more isolation of your fantastic steed.

A very cool catch, Bill and well rendered. The background works for me, though I do wish that tree on the left hadn’t been quite so close. This looks more like an alpaca to my eye!

Hi Bill,

This is so cool and a wonderful find. Good think you were aware of your surroundings as it doesn’t appear as though he/she has noticed you yet. I am good with the BG as the details and textures in the wood are so crisp and sharp that it stands out nicely from the BG. Nicely done.
