The recent combination of snow and cold created “cities” of icicles hanging on the trees and shrubs standing in the edges of the Potomac River.

What a great find Mark, the repetition of shapes gives this image a lot of impact. I like how the globe shapes have merged together too. This illustrates one of the few upsides to the recent cold snap we’ve had on the eastern seaboard.
