Very different from the usual image in this forum, Don, but quite effective. I like the array of leaves receding into the distance and the thorns in the foreground. I am debating the brightness of the last few rows of leaves on the right as they tend to pull my eye in that direction, but I can’t figure out if that’s a good thing or a bad thing. They do add some interesting tension to the composition.

Don !!! So unique and interesting … Great in B&W. Good Tone and Composition.

Don, I don’t post in this category often as I’m usually doing landscapes. But this image is very different from those I’ve usually seen in this Flora category. It has a scary or foreboding look and feel. Which is a good thing for the impact effect for sure… :+1:

Don: “Prehistoric” is the immediate reaction I got from this. Wonderful lighting and tonal control. I also like your DOF management. Exceptionally fine work. >=))>

Dennis, Gill, Paul and Bill, sincere thanks for the comments.

Now that you mention it, this could be the back of a stegosaurus.
