Maybe a little, Steve. The greens are especially muddy and without zip if you know what I mean. There’s also residual haloing around the stems and the flowers to the left where the masking bled over. I think the dark background works, but maybe not so severely. Tomatoes are part of the very large nightshade family and have that characteristic smell and flowers. I had a couple of the wild varieties in my yard in NH and loved photographing the flowers and the fruit, although eating them is ill advised. This shot has both potential of a good photo and a good snack.
