I decided to see what a previous color image would look like in B&W, starting with the finished color version. This is something I have done before without issues. The above is what I see when doing nothing to a processed color virtual copy other than hitting the B&W selection. All of the reddish areas in the image correspond to masks created in the color version (LR 2022 masking). Settings are shown in the .png. This hasn’t been shuttled between other software packages. Changing the B&W color mode did nothing to solve the problem.
Does anyone have an idea why, and how to get rid of it outside of completely redoing the image from the uncorrected raw?
