While the male is quite striking in all its bright red feathers, the female while not so bright still offers a fine array of subtle colors.

Pretty much all done in ACR with some minor burning and dodging in PS
Lovely frames, with BGs that go well with the colors of the birds. It’s a busy setting but the neutral colors of the branches make them an interesting element.

As Diane mentioned, the settings are pretty busy, but the only thing that bothers me about them are the bright white specular highlights in the image of the male. They’re enough to distract me from the bird.
Funny as I brought up the value of the dew drops to further triangulate the position of the bird…easy enough fix.
