Manasquan Lonely

I present an image taken on an early spring morning. Dead trees. Cool air. Dense fog. A barely visible shoreline. What mood is shown here? I am not exactly sure…

Nikon D810 with a Nikon 24-120 f/4 lens. Lee .60 ND grad filter. Manfrotto tripod with an RRS ballhead. Nikon post-processing software.

I see part mystery and hope due to the fog but there is a hint of brightness with the view of the shore just barely there.

For me it is desolation and bleakness. On a sunny day and a woodpecker at one of the holes it would be completely different. But then back ground would be more prominent. I like this one.

Nice image.

Cold, wintery, desolate…peace…and then on the playful side…tall, taller…tallest.
