This ancient rootball caught my eye as I wandered through a local wooded area. The overcast let the details show while retaining some contrast. A 10 shot stack to get the “mask” sharp. (R5, 180mm macro, 1/15 s, f/9, iso 1600, tripod)
It won’t enlarge for me but I can see the twisted expression very well in the thumbnail. Great seeing and presentation – perfect for the limited stack.
