Canon 5ds-r at f-7.1, 1/2500 sec with iso 1250. Using 100x400 telephoto with 1.4 extension. Gray BG is the result of trees at a distance with no leaves even though the day was overcast.
Great wing position and I love the framing from the holly (though I’ve pulled and clipped a lot of it since it’s invasive around here). I do wish the darn bird had given you a bit better head turn.
It is a nice Christmas photo. Darned bird just needed to turn its head a tad to make it perfect. I like the detail under that wing and good job with the holly.
