I was watering some of the flowers in the garden a couple days ago and disturbed this little lizard who jumped down on the gas meter. He was kind enough to wait around until I could get the camera and also showed off a bit. Most of our images are for artistic consumption but then in cases like this it’s just for fun. I see tons of lizards around our desert environments, but rarely see the old horned lizards or “horny toads” that were plentiful as a kid…
Definitely a fun shot, Bill. The details in the lizard look great and the sense that it may be reading the meter is good for a big grin.
Really a fun shot and nice details on the head. I like the body pattern too.
