Migration rest stop

Spent a blustery Upper Peninsula (Michigan) afternoon chasing migrating hawks traveling south from Canada. This RTHK sat still for a nice over-the-shoulder look.

I just began using ON1 RAW for editing. Fed up with Adobe’s annual costs. Now I need to upgrade to the newest MacBook Pro.

I also like the look its giving you. Nice light and detail. I’d be tempted to clone out the small branch.

Hi Brian, welcome back. This is a great shot with the bird looking over its shoulder back at you. The light is quite nice too.

Hi Brian
I really like the detailing and coloring of the hawks feathers. The head turn and eye contact add a feeling to this shot that the hawk is pleased with what is going on behind it.

Overall details look fine. The very steep shooting angle didn’t do the image any favors. Quite tight in the frame for my tastes.
