About This Image
These lovely Veronica in our backyard were lovely! I loved the contrast of the white/pink and the darker vivid green. I’m fortunate that I have a husband that loves to work in the garden:o)

For this image, I didn’t do a whole lot of processing. The image was cropped a bit to center the two from stems, the background was blurred a pinch more and them some dodging and burning for contrast. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

I think that you captured this stand of Veronica very well. The limited DOF works well and there’s enough of the subjects in sharp focus to carry the composition. Well done…Jim
Oooh this is inviting and I can almost hear the bees as the buzz around possibly dodging hummingbirds. The greens are so well rendered and the whites look bright, but natural. It’s hard to frame and crop these kinds of repetitive subjects, but I think this works well. Just one weird area at the top that might be the result of trying to expand the canvas?? You didn’t mention that so I don’t know what else to attribute it to. Otherwise, looks darn good.

Holly: The tough choices for me in busy scenes like this are where to crop and how to isolate a subject in such a way that your viewers can tell what you were after. I think you did well. >=))>
