Hi Mathieu. I do like the change. It does get difficult when the bright areas are too bright as they always want to go gray when you tone them down. Sometimes you can pick up a brown tone or two from the image and use a low opacity brush over the area to make it look a little better as well. Bright dead wood can really be a pain in bird photography.
