Several neighbors have hens that often run loose, and I enjoy having them wander down into our yard. The feathers are gorgeous and the birds fascinating to watch.

Chickens are surprisingly lovely birds. I like the light and the contrasts here. With some luminosity masking used as stencils, I bet you could do some work to bring out the texture even more. Such softness.
