Orange-winged Parrot_Juvie

Shooting on the grounds at Cuffie, this juvenile Orange-winged Parrot dropped down on this Flaming Immortelle just outside and above my room at the lodge and started plucking the flowers.

A very cool image, Chuck. The flower in the beak really makes this one. Those twigs must be more in the plane than they look to get them all in focus at f/5.6 and 500 mm.

Beautiful shot Chuck, rare to get a parrot eye level and great to get it feeding on this flower. Great detail and lighting as well.

A beautiful bird and a great shot of him, Chuck. Such great details.
