Our National Bird

The Clay Colored Thrush is the national bird of Costa Rica. Although these are quite common throughout Costa Rica, in neighboring Guatemala, the national bird is the Resplendent Quetzel. Go figure?

Nice image of their “robin”, David. Certainly one could make an arguement that the “American Robin” would be an appropriate national bird for us.
